Introducing our group
I would like to briefly introduce the group I spent this trip to Budapest and Vienna with. Our group consisted of 8 students including 6 boys and 2 girls, Charlotte and myself. In order to prepare for this trip, we had to deliver enough research work to the lecturers in advance and when we got the green light we were allowed to start booking our flights, ordering sightseeing tickets and booking the accommodations. We spent 3 days in Budapest and 4 days in Vienna.
Budapest
In Budapest we had booked our stay in a B&B and this called Metropolis Budapest, this was provided for 8 people and all the necessary things were present. Many buildings were visited like Fisherman’s Bastion, Matthias Church, Hungarian National Gallery, Széchenyi Chain Bridge, St. Stephen’s Basilica, Széchenyi Thermal Bath and Millenium Monument, these were the main sights of total 24.
vienna
In Vienna we had booked our stay in a B&B and this was located in the center with a magnificent view, this was provided for 8 people and here we had a little more space and luxury for everyone, but all the necessary things were present as in Budapest. In Vienna we also visited many buildings such as United Nations Office at Vienna, Liechtenstein Garden Palace, Belvedere 21, St. Charles’s Church, Vienna Operahouse, Annakirche, St. Stephen’s Cathedral, University of Vienna, Museum of Natural History and Theseus Temple, these were the main sights of total 28.
